We are happy to invite you to the private viewing of the next solo exhibition by Alice Colombo – Thinking of a Garden.
Workshop 353 will host a selection of artworks created by Alice between 2013 and 2020.
In the words of Alice: ‘There is plenty of air breathing around the trees, flowers and animals; sometimes you might notice an adventurer wandering and climbing the branches. Some things have changed since then; however, I am always thinking of a garden.
‘A fleur-de-lis shadow is ticking regularly on the Universe clock. Hard to tell what the matter is with time; I also have a bad memory. Fortunately, each one of these pieces is a reminiscence of what has happened then and there: moments of loneliness, drinks at the pub with friends, dramatic relationships, cycling at night along the Regents Canal, trips to Italy, cats and love.’
We are looking forward to seeing you at 353 Roman Road on Thursday 16, 6:30pm.
