Event description
Inspired by Ghanaian artist Serge Attukwei Clottey’s practice, come and use recycled materials to create masks exploring themes of heritage and identity on Saturday 23rd of September.
Clottey’s totemic sculpture and sound installation, Tribe and Tribulation, was launched at Greenwich Peninsula in 2022 as part of Longitudinal Dialogues. Co-curated with Arup Phase 2, this collaborative programme takes The Line’s location on the Greenwich Meridian as a starting point for global cultural exchange.
Attendees can come at any time between 10am and 5pm, and the workshop is open to all abilities. BSL interpretation will also be available at the workshop from 2-5pm.
Photo and video footage will be captured at this event for promotional and safety reasons. Please let us know if you do not want to be documented.
