Centring witchcraft and magic alongside the clash between West African and Western attitudes to mental health, An Unfinished Man tells a vital story of a young black man in today’s East London, affected by the interplay of structural racism, gentrification, and society’s expectations of men.
Written by Channel 4 playwright bursary winner Dipo Baruwa-Etti, and directed by Taio Lawson, this new play is not to be missed.
An Unfinished Man is now on stage at The Yard in Hackney, and will be running until the 12th March.
