Event description
This spring, So Last Century is popping up at a truly stunning venue in east London with a new event specialising in vintage home interiors.
The Heritage & Arts Centre (HAC) in Bow is the beautiful and dormant, Grade II-listed, Holy Trinity Church dating from the 1830, situated only minutes from Mile End tube station. With its glorious natural light, soaring columns and distressed plaster, this Grade II listed building is the perfect backdrop to browse our traders’ collections of vintage and mid century furniture, lighting and decorative pieces.
On 2nd March, more than 30 hand-picked vintage and mid century dealers will be filling this atmospheric space with gorgeous mid-20th century furniture, lighting, homeware, decorative objets, ceramics, glass, textiles and furnishings, Polish and film posters, art, prints and lots more wonderful things for your home.
It’s the perfect place to come if you’ve just moved house and are hunting for great quality but affordable furniture, searching for that stand-out piece to add the finishing touch to a particular room or simply looking for inspiration for ideas to refresh your home. The building isn’t often open to the public, so this is a great chance to have a look inside if you haven’t seen it.
Most traders take card payments, and many offer a same-day delivery service if you want to buy something big.
Superb coffee and pastries by Blue Daisy and heavenly chocolate brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb, outside.
