Decolonising Fashion and Textiles project needs you!
Join us for free earning and workshops, exploring the themes of identity, culture, place, sustainability and community.
We welcome you to take part in our creative workshops using fashion and textiles:
– Two photography workshops in Nov / Dec 2022 to explore new ways to express yourself and how to look at and photograph the place where you currently live.
– Two storytelling workshops between Jan / Feb 2023 to show and talk about textiles, clothes or accessories you already own, representing your identity, culture and story.
You will get:
– A certificate of participation from the University of the Arts London
– An exhibition of your work in a gallery
– New skills & connections
Materials will be provided, travel reimbursed, light refreshments offered. Further workshops will also be available next year.
