Queen Mary University of London’s Festival of Communities is making a big return in 2022, bringing communities together to explore living and learning in Tower Hamlets.
The Festival will take place on the weekend of 11-12 June and is a collaboration between Queen Mary University of London and local organisations. On the Saturday, the festival will be taking over part of Stepney Green Park. The next day, Queen Mary University’s Mile End campus will be open to the residents of Tower Hamlets.
The Festival team are looking for community organisations and groups to take part and engage local residents and families by showcasing projects and opportunities to become more involved.
Taking part in the Festival is free of charge, with the possibility for VCS organisations to apply for funding of up to £200 to cover some of the costs of taking part, including expenses reimbursement and activity materials.
