A new favourite local queer night, Queer East, transitions into a Community Interest Company, cementing its commitment to our community even further.
With this movement, they’re introducing admission tickets, but unlike most club nights that are set ticket prices, to get into Queer East you pay whatever you want – you decide – as a pledge to ensure that everyone in our community can still attend, keeping inclusivity at the heart of what they do.
This change is less about being a ‘company’ and more about being a committed part of our queer family in London. They keep creating amazing spaces for queer people, which isn’t just our POV, we caught up with some other party-goers at one of their nights, and this is what we heard:
