What do you think?
Join us for an evening of local history, uncovering forgotten stories of Barnardo’s East End. Between 1876 and 1924, over 500 Barnardo’s children were buried in unmarked graves in Bow Cemetery, now Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, where a monument remembers their presence. In 2012, the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, working with Barnardo’s archive, began to identify these children. We are delighted that speakers from both organisations will revisit this important project with us at the Ragged School Museum.
6:30pm
Sunday 17th March 2024.
The event is free to attend but places are limited so please reserve your place by signing up on Eventbrite.
