Poem submission from a local reader:
Tower Hamlets where have you bin?
Speaking of which have the staff recently been in?
For the streets the borough, St Dunstans & Roman road are a refuge disgrace
About time the Mayor listened up, did a walk about
and maybe show face
Multiple calls, meetings attend, local team informed,
same rubbish just a different day
Odd really, new officers, new manifesto, same fob off,
less rubbish we pray
Tower Hamlets fast gaining a reputation of being full
of bin bags, rubbish and missed pick ups
This borough must get a grip and fix waste, collection
and rhetoric of trash hic ups
