Do you have an East London migration story? Bow Arts wants to hear from you!
Traces: Stories of Migration is a community textile art project exploring migration stories from across East London.
The project is looking for participants to take part in their seven week programme.
Across the programme you will work with internationally acclaimed artist, Lucy Orta, learn new textile skills, make your own artwork and showcase your work in large-scale public exhibitions.
Partnering with communities across Newham and Tower Hamlets, and local arts organisations, artworks will be featured in exhibitions at the Nunnery Gallery, the Fashion District Festival and the new LCF East Bank gallery from June 2023.
Sessions will be held every Wednesday and Thursday from 14 – 27 September.
