Following the success of the weekly Back to Hockey sessions over summer, Wapping Hockey Club is pleased to continue the programme year-round, starting on September 4th 2023.
Sessions will be Tuesdays 8:30pm – 10pm.
Back to Hockey is a community initiative run by Wapping Hockey Club to help local residents get fit and socialise through playing hockey. It is aimed at people who’ve never played before or did so a long time ago.
The sessions are fun, social, informal, and a great way to get fitter and meet new people. If you are a little apprehensive, unsure of the rules, or worried that you won’t know anyone, don’t worry! The session is taken by a qualified coach to gently guide the group through a series of fun and interactive sessions in a friendly and relaxed environment. There is also an opportunity to socialise after each session.
