The Bath House

The Baths is a not-for-profit community building with artist studios, event and gallery spaces, garden and cafe in Hackney Wick.
We are continuously updating our programme of events and activities, so do keep checking in to see what’s coming soon!

The Hall 
Home to the renowned and extremely popular Giant Steps parties run by the team behind Brilliant Corners, our 300-capacity hall is the space to beat for music events, dances, film screenings and more. Hire our sound system and come and dance with us!
Civic Classroom
With space for around 30 people, the Civic Classroom is an affordable space for learning, community and creativity. Currently hosting a range of workshops and events, from sound baths to natural dye classes, it’s a space that we provide for the community to share resources, ideas, and skills. 
The Cafe 
With space for 80 people, our cafe is the hub of the building where you can come and relax in between events, grab hot drinks, alcoholic beverages, sweet and savoury treats and some deliciously cooked fresh food from our local chef. 
The Garden 
Our Garden operates as a community garden, growing beautiful plants and vegetables, as well as an  R&R space during the day for people to refresh after the Community Sauna Baths (also located in our outside garden space). It also operates as a smoking area during events. In summer, we host BBQs, acoustic sessions, chilled-out DJ nights, bonfires, handmade pizza and plenty of cold beers from our outside bar, so there is plenty to enjoy in the peaceful, plant-filled surroundings.
