Supper Club Camel & Jeans return to the Nunnery Cafe on Thursday 29 June.
Entitled ‘Feast of the East’, Camel & Jeans are taking inspiration from the Nunnery Gallery exhibition Lucy Orta Traces: Stories of Migration to pay tribute to the diasporic food culture of East London. Thursday 29 June features an entirely vegetarian menu of fusion cuisine.
Camel & Jeans is the culinary brainchild of MasterChef quarter and semi-finalists, Hannah and Farokh. They curate experimental supper clubs that straddle the boundary between art and cooking.
Thursday 29 June’s menu features:
Masala Cheese and Pineapple
with curry, ketchup, and poppadoms
Peppersoup Pie and Mash
with jackfruit, yams, and scotch bonnet
Sweet Potato Pie Crumble
with pineapples, ginger, and oats
Drinks will be available to purchase throughout the evening in the Nunnery Café.
A vegan option will be available to book before Monday 26th June.
