Free Film Nights at the Victoria Park Baptist Church

Every Thursday evening we present a free film screening at the Victoria Park Baptist Church, introduced and presented by Shawm Kreitzman.

This Thursday (the 25th of January) we are launching a brand new series: “Depression. Comedy.”

Our first film is the 1930 German film “People On Sunday”; a beautifully-shot “slice-of-life” tale of ordinary people living in Berlin in 1929. “People on Sunday” is notable as a chronicle of a thriving, bustling society that was on the verge of destruction, and also because it showcases the talents of several young film-makers who were forced to flee to Hollywood in the subsequent years.

All of our film screenings are completely free, and open to everyone.

Coffee, cake etc. will be available!
